I decided I better put in some pictures of the kids so my mom would have a reason to look at this blog. Apparently, she thinks Jane is her only grandchild. All of these pictures were taken last July in Yellowstone. Yellowstone is advertised as the quintessential family vacation. We had fun, but all I can say is that it is a good thing for nintendo ds. The kids all played theirs in the car. Whenever I wanted to stop, they would yell, "Not another geyser!"
Max loved Yellowstone. He wanted to get out of the car so he could see all of the beautiful signs. Our tax dollars spent labeling everything sure paid off. When we got back in the car, Max screamed, "I want to go the place with all the beautiful signs!" I would have to convince him the next stop had more signs. He even liked the sign with a picture of a boy being burned in the scalding pools. At least he got something out of the trip.
